How to use Darwi crackle varnish?
Brush or sponge application.
Attention, apply the varnish only once per place. Do not iron several times on the same place as the effect may be affected.

For the Darwi 1-step crackle medium (100 or 250 ml bottles): if you want a background color for your crackles, paint your support with acrylic paint. You can also leave it as it is. Once the paint is dry, you can apply a coat of Crackle Medium. As soon as it feels dry, use a second color of contrasting acrylic paint. You will see the cracks appear after a few minutes.
If you wish, you can apply a protective varnish over the whole thing so that the second layer of acrylic is not damaged.
